FeHRL
The European umbrella organisation Forum of European National Highway Research Laboratories (FEHRL) has set up a work group around FWD in the 1990ies.
Three meetings similar to aFWD users’ group meeting were organised:
First FEHRL-FWD SEMINAR, 11-12 November 1991, Delft, The Netherlands
Second FEHRL SEMINAR ON FWD, 2-3 February 1993, Nantes, France
Third FEHRL FWD Seminar, 17-18 May 1994, Copenhagen, Denmark
Afterwards a report was published: Harmonisation of the Use of the Falling Weight Deflectometer on Pavements, Part 1 – Harmonisation of FWD measurements and data processing for flexible road pavement evaluation, FEHRL REPÖRT No. 1996/1.
